BiographyPut my experience to Work For You Today!Irene Hamming was born in Maple Ridge to a Dutch family and was raised on a dairy farm in the Okanagan.
In 1978 she began her career in Banking and in 1982, she moved from rural British Columbia to further her career in the Banking Industry. After several years, she decided to expand her horizons and use her knowledge and experience in the rewarding field of non-profit. Later, she moved to Ottawa and began working for a Member of Parliament. Her love of British Columbia and her family beckoned and, in 1990, Irene returned to Vancouver to pursue a career in Real Estate. She began in the Development Group at Marathon Realty Company in Vancouver. Always in pursuit of education, Irene enrolled at the University of B.C. and, while continuing to work, earned an Urban Land Economics Diploma in Appraisal and Property Management. In February of 1994 Irene decided to put her experience and education to good use and began working as a Realtor and then joined RE/MAX later in 1994. In 1998 she earned her Agent's License and has an Agent 9.15 or know today as Associate Broker status. The Associate Broker status can allow Irene to run her own office but she prefers to spend her time working closely with her clients. Her detail-oriented and personal service has earned her a client list based predominantly on referrals. Her clients know that Irene has only their best interests at heart and that she understands that each client has their own unique set of needs. Irene loves family. She is the proud mom of son Lukas born in 1997. Having a strong sense of family gives Irene an added understanding of the important role a home plays in your life. That is why she gives that extra personal and professional "touch" to each client. |
